Vjushkov's cannibal

A new drawing. I gave him the name "Vjushkov's cannibal" - Vjushkovia triplicostata. This predatory erythrosuchid was named after B. P. Vyushkov, Soviet paleontologist. Three-meter long predator that lived during the early-middle Triassic of European Russia. Modern crocodiles, and many other predatory reptiles from time to time do not stop to kill and eat their relatives. Obviously, cannibalism was common in animals such as Vjushkovia. In this drawing, the adult male attacked the young fellow and killed him. But the scars on the front legs and at the base of the neck, consistent with attempts to protect, who unsuccessfully tried to use the youngster.
