Early Triassic, South Africa

Description

Today I finished a landscape painting, painted more than a week. Early Triassic of South Africa. Proterosuchus fergusi went for a walk, and paused, glancing at a small herd Lystrosauruses with the cubs. One of the adult dicynodonts decided to climb the hill, and are about to meet face to face with a terrible predator, which, however, lasts until killed. And in the background, sitting on a dry log, you can see the little "lizard". This reptile was originally conceived as Euparkeria, but this "T-rex in miniature" it turned out to be very similar, so I decided that this is one of the Prolacertiformes, primitive archosauromorphs.

Made, as always colored pencils and markers, and white and black gel pens.
